The BPO is requires a LOT of volunteers, and we know it is scary to jump into something without knowing exactly what you're getting into! This HANDBOOK was made to give potential BPO members and ALL parent volunteers a pretty solid idea of all the work that goes into making the Silver Falcon Marching Band run smoothly!
Please peruse this, but also talk to seasoned band parents (we're really quite nice and are always happy to add more friends and helpers!). The BPO is a fantastic place to plug in and really help the band, and you will get to be in the background and watch your kid have an awesome time!
This handbook has 2 parts: The first part is the general roles of the BPO and all volunteers; the second part has more specific information as to each event that the BPO helps with throughout the year (this is more helpful to the actual BPO members, not as much to general volunteers).
